Questions about the free walk
How is it different from a guided route?
On a guided route you follow a walk stop by stop. On a free walk there is no set path: you go wherever you like and the app lets you know when you pass near a place with a story.
Do I have to keep looking at my phone?
No. Put it away and listen with headphones: the app lets you know when you pass near a place with a story.
How many alerts will I get?
As many as you choose: few stories, a normal pace or many. And a story that has already started is never cut short.
Will it alert me again about a place I have already heard?
No. The app alerts you about places you have not heard yet, and the ones you know are saved in My menumentos.
Does it work offline?
Yes. With the city pack downloaded, the free walk works without using mobile data.
What happens to my location?
It stays on your phone. The app uses your position to know when to alert you, but your exact location never leaves your phone.
