Questions about the features
What is the difference between a guided route and a free walk?
A guided route takes you stop by stop along a walk with its own duration and distance, and the story starts when you reach each stop. On a free walk you go wherever you like and the app lets you know when you pass near a place with a story. Both use the same stories.
What is a teaser?
The opening of every story: 45 to 90 seconds that play on their own as you pass by. If you want more, ask for the full story, 3 to 5 minutes long.
Do I need an account?
Not to go for a walk. With a free account you keep My menumentos and your passport, see full routes on the website, rate routes and contribute your own stories. It is the same account in the app and on the website.
What can I do on the website?
Get to know each city with its map and its places with a story, see its routes and, with your account, check My menumentos, your passport, “Before your trip” and your contributions. The full stories and the audio are waiting for you in the app.
How does the passport work?
Every city where you listen to a story or complete a route gives you a stamp, with what you have listened to and the dates of your first and latest visit.
